Technology Application
We produce the whole range of Osteosynthesis products for medical application, specifically in the Orthopaedic field. OSA currently has over 500 line items of basic implants.

OSA’s production facility is equipped with the latest precision engineering and computer- aided-design (CAD) tooling and machineries.

The production floor is lined with Parting Machine, CNC Lathe, Drilling, Milling and Punching Machine, Bench Grinder, Electro Chemical Dipping Bath, Shadow Graph and Laser Marker Machine.

Design and development activities are performed with CAD computer system and later providing a 3D rendering before a prototype is produced. These activities aimed to ensure speed and accuracy from conceptualization to realization

Product Improvement and New Products

Up to date OSA Technology Sdn Bhd has developed product improvement on external fixation device. External fixation is a surgical treatment used to set bone fractures and is accomplished by placing pins or screws into the bone on both sides of the fracture. The pins are then secured together outside the skin with clamps and rods. The improved external fixation device by OSA Technology Sdn Bhd will allow easy procedure for orthopedic surgeon to install the device on patients with simplified surgical instruments.

OSA Technology Sdn Bhd is also currently developing ‘OSA Orthopedic Trauma Locking System’ for bone fixation fracture. The device is used to align and treat fracture and to provide better purchase in poor quality bone and equivalent purchase with fewer screws, and also to limit screw pullout by functioning as fixed-angled device. This provides numerous potential advantages to standard plates.
